Boundaries

Today we wanted to talk about cleaning boundaries in the workspace.

Now we have all gone through HR trainings on personal boundaries in the workspace both physical and verbal, but we are not talking about those boundaries, were talking trust boundaries. Sunset Cleaning service will always respect your workplace boundaries, and this may be something you never quite thought about. I know I never did. In my corporate business days, I could not wait to clock out to get home. I would organize my desk, write a list of call backs on a post it, stick it on my computer and clock out. One thing I used to notice the following days is that my notes would be missing or in different locations, simple items like post it pads, pens heck even my sanitizer would be missing on occasion. I figured maybe a coworker borrowed them, never thinking too much about it, until security footage showed our evening cleaning crew were taking items here and there, at one point even looking through paperwork sitting in my tray. This was of course alarming and just another reason why we make sure we hire only the most honest and trustworthy technicians. Background checks also do not hurt.

So, think about it, do you keep sensitive information in unlocked drawers or notes with client information you need to return a call to on your desk or a restaurant with an unlocked refrigerators, supply rooms that are unmonitored (This is a big one)“Staples just dropped off more trash bags and paper towels, but where are they?” hmm. Maybe you are like me, you have a bit of OCD and line up your equipment, mouse pads or papers a specific way each night before you leave.
